The best tip was to take a deep breathe first. The natural scent, I think it was lavender, among others, was so relaxing and helped me sleep. Then by patting it into the skin instead of rubbing, makes sure that it really penetrates the skin instead of just sitting as a layer on top. When I woke up in the morning my skin really did feel smooth and 'restored'. The essential oils and evening primrose oil help the skin to give it a moisture boost and it certainly worked!
I have used it 3 or 4 times now and although my skin has felt amazing as soon as I woke up, I haven't really seen any long term difference in smoothness yet. But as I say, it is very early days, you probably need to use it for a few weeks to notice a difference.
Overall, The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a beautiful product and I would highly recommend it as a weekly treatment for tired or dull skin. Although it is rather pricey, it is definitely worth it as a treat or to be added to your wishlist! I think I need to invest in some more Kiehls products now...
Midnight Recovery Concentrate is £36 for a 30ml bottle (which will last forever!) from Kiehls.co.uk
Sounds lovely, but the price doesn't lol xx

Ha, no, definitely a treat, or birthday present! :) xx
DeleteSounds like a nice alternative to the Clarins oils, although the price is just a wee bit higher. Kiehls is such a nice brand.
