I have been quite naughty recently and bought too many clothes. I like to think that because I am saving so much money on not going out and having no social life (due to extreme amounts of uni work- in case you didn't know...!) then all the money I have saved I can spend on pretty things to cheer myself up. Therefore I will look great when I do have a social life again! The maths works perfectly! There are a few trends which I am in love with at the moment so I thought I would make some little moodboards on some of my favourite items and how I would wear them. I would love to say I could buy all these outfits, but my "going-out" budget definitely didn't stretch that far!
Firstly, I am absolutely loving blue and green tartan at the moment, kind of jumping on the bandwagon, but I think they can look so sophisticated. I tried bidding for a pair on ebay, but lost, so I am still on the search for the perfect pair of tartan trousers! I would team them with a simple white shirt, a huge bag and statement gold jewellery.
I ordered this Celine T-shirt from ebay the other day (a little obsessed with ebay, can you tell?) I can't wait for it to arrive and to do an outfit post with it. I love the monochrome trend at the moment, there is nothing classier than just black and white. Paired with a furry gilet and casual trainers, this look would be a perfect shopping trip outfit...which I won't be doing anymore of for a very long time!
I seem to be drawn to all things neon yellow at the moment! Paired with all black, the pop of colour looks amazing in this dull weather. I feel like I need to be really tanned to pull of this colour, therefore a tanning session is definitely in order so that I don't look ghostly and ill when wearing my new yellow beanie I bought the other day!
What are you favourite trends at the moment?
